Teaching & Assessment
Teaching and assessment methods at Mulshi Institute of Retail Management & Mulshi Institute of Business Management aim at creating participant driven learning environment that encourages students to take greater initiative and responsibility for their learning, that is enjoyable and stimulating. Teaching programme will be completed & divided in six trimesters over two years.

Teaching Methods
Faculty will use multiple teaching methodologies. Case analysis, project groups, business simulations & games, home assignments, lectures and syndicates will form the core of teaching learning programme at MIRM & MIBM

Core programme will be taught in class size of 50-60 students. Students will be divided in 15-20 groups for syndicate and 6-8 for group project in each course.

In addition, they will be required to complete individual assignment. MIRM & MIBM programme is very demanding, and will require very high level of self – responsibility, personal commitment and self- discipline to complete home study to support lectures and class discussions.

Assessment
Assessment at MIRM & MIBM will aim at reinforcing and encouraging student learning process. Multiple assessments will be carries out periodically, including surprise quizzes, and written individual & group assignments for both core and elective courses.

To be awarded the PG Diploma students will be required to pass all the courses at a standard defined by instructors and earn cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of on a Scale of 8 over two years. Exceptional performances will be awarded medals.

Dissertation
Students will choose a topic for their dissertation project in consultations with their faculty guide. The dissertation will include methods, empirical data analysis and conclusions on the research.
